I'm trying to make a character with azwell soul, someone that looks like he would be the physical embodiment of equal good and bad, because I feel like azwell doesn't fit that super well. Anyone made a character for him so I can get some ideas?
What's on your mind?

If you also dream of seeing guts as a guest on soul calibur, please sign this petition to see our wish come true!
What we need are an Aztec warrior, an Indian warrior & African warrior.
Aztec: Macuahuitl
Indian: Scimitar
African: Shotel or spear?
What are your ideas for new warriors since SCVII will be based off of SC2.
I’ve never seen this discussed so I want to gain some knowledge on this.
Which Soul Calibur game has the fastest fighting mechanics with smooth combo system?
I’m not a fan of this combo pause combo pause combo pause system in place for the recent games.
I remember Soul Calibur games used to have great chain combos one after the other. It felt amazing to pull those off. It feels like the recent games have slowed down the fighting speed as well.
Now, I personally like the customizer and think that it adds a lot of variety to the game in terms of characters you can create (it's literally the main reason I got SCVI to begin with). One issue I have with it, however, is that YOU CAN'T PUT STICKERS ON SKELETONS! You can put stickers on a skeleton's gear, but for some unknown reason, the game devs decided "ya know what? Skeletons can just have customizable BONE COLOR!" Like, what if I want to make a skeleton character with skull damage? Or a symbol on him? Or LITERALLY ANYTHING THAT CAN MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE ANYTHING MORE THAN A BUNCH OF UGLY FUCKING BONES?!?! Bandai-Namco, fix this!
what is with fan games and no dl link. and ps3 case. r they real or bs
While the roster of Soulcalibur series already has a nice diverse set of characters with all sorts of weapons and tricks by their sleeves, I'd hope that no one would mind me bringing up this topic of what you'd think would be some cool weapons and fighting styles for SC VII as well as some nations and/or parts of the world that you think should have some representation that currently don't have any. (Some credit to this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWRy1ty3ml0&t=30s, for some ideas which I acknowledge others brought up)
As for Weapons:
Lantern Shield: Yes this weird thing actually exists/existed in real-life, and amusingly these also happened to be made in during the sixteenth century (where the Soulcalibur series is set in). However in addition I'd also like to add an even more unique feature to this Shield type in which it would also have a buzzsaw style blade along the edges of the shield (like what the character General Tsao from Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves has for those who are familiar with that series, if not just look up the Sly vs Tsao boss battle on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g10-9zoo0M)
Flail or Flail and Shield: I'm mildly surprised that a flail using character has yet to appear in the series so far. Perhaps this character's style could be made as a foil to Maxi's, where such a style can inflict stronger hits and have longer range, but also have drawbacks of slower rate of attack and longer windows of vulnerability.
Shotel swords: These are sickle swords that originate from Ethiopia. They are unique in that they can be used both with the curved side (tip point away) towards opponents and also be flipped in order to make "cobra strikes" around an opponents' shield and defenses (here's a video here to demonstrate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaiV__zdrY0)
As for nationalities and/or regions so far without representatives:
Another character from the Middle-East. While there are technically already some characters from Middle-East, such as the golem-like being Astaroth and bonus characters Assassin and Ashlotte (all from Persia), Algol (from "An ancient dynasty whose name has been lost to history" which is most likely in Ancient Sumer given his inspiration is the Sumerian Epic Hero Gilgamesh) and the likely originally Babylonian Zasalamel (though some might discount him due to the fact that he has reincarnated across numerous different parts of the world in his thousands of years of existence), but I would say that a character who has a more authentic representation of the Middle-East would be a good candidate for a newcomer. More specifically, I'd like see this character derived from Egypt (considering that many games have had stages set in the ruins of Ancient Egypt, it would be fitting to finally have someone who actually from there be a character), the Ottoman Empire (Other than the Greek descended Alexander family and Aeon Calcos), or Persia (again who is not a golem/automaton or a henchman/mook based on another pre-existing character's style).
Sub-Saharan Africa: Though in this case, I'd like to see a particular featured in SC VI's Libra of Soul upgraded into a full-fledged character with his own style, that being the Ethiopian Black Panther Warrior Wolde. This revamped version of Wolde I'd like to see using the Shotel-sword style I described earlier plus incorporating his blank panther Bilkis (in a manner similar to how Tekken 7 newcomer Leroy Smith can call in his bulldog Sugar for some attacks).
Polynesia: The ancient Polynesians are considered by some historians as being among the greatest navigators in the pre-modern era and on top of that also have unique warrior traditions. One particular weapon that would be interesting to see implemented could be the Shark toothed club (AKA Leiomano).
Russia: Given that Russia is a European country, but also spanning across part of the continent of Asia, and thus would be able to reflect some the historical developments going on in Russia at this time in history, particularly Russian exploration and conquests of Siberia.
Thailand: A character of his background could use Krabi-krabong style sword fighting, which would be an interesting contrast to the styles of various other characters.
Hi my name is Randon and I am a huge SC fan since SoulBlade days. You may have seen me and some of my creations online but my goal is to create 1P & 2P costumes that look realistic w/o reusing too many pieces of equipment that also complement the theme of the character. Some of these are a work in progress but I feel like some of these creations needed to be shared.
This one is the first in my list and def one of my favs as Hilde is my favorite style. Prior to Hilde DLC being released he fought as Seong-Mina. I ended up finding another creation that better suited Mina and once Hilde’s DLC was released and I saw her weapon set I already knew this would be the perfect creation for her. This one holds a special place in my heart and is prob the one you will see me playing as most often. Since created I haven’t had any reason to edit him. I feel it is perfect.

With a film adaptation apparently stuck in development hell (according to Wikipedia), I'm curious about how you guys would go about making a movie - or alternatively a TV series if you think that would work better - if you were offered the chance to do so.
Would you prefer your adaptation to be a movie or TV show?
Would you like it to be live action or animated?
Who would you pick to play/voice the various characters?
How would you structure the film/first season?
Just a few ideas to get you started.
As an aid if you're interested, here's a video from YouTuber "Filmento", as he goes over the movie adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog and explains why, in his opinion, it broke the "video game movie curse" whilst other recent video game adaptations such as Assassin's Creed, Warcraft and Tomb Raider failed to do so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plk5B5tKqOA
Curious to see what you guys come up with.
I mentioned in a past forum post about some CAS clothing and pieces I'd like to see be part of a DLC pack in Season 2 (and maybe a season 3 or more), of which make it possible to recreate some past Guest Characters. To be clear, I'm well aware that Bandai-Namco and Project Soul can't just start up create pieces such as Link's long stocking cap, or Spawn's gauntlets and greaves without the permission of the IP owners. However, they could still make certain equipment that is distinctively different in appearance and name to avoid infringing on other companies Intellectual Properties. Here are the CAS parts and how I'd have them designed. I will not be including features of characters from other Bandai-Namco franchises (e.g. Tekken, the Tales series, and Xenosaga) due to the fact that, obviously, they already own those properties and thus no legal work arounds would be necessary in the first place.
Long Stocking Cap: For those who don't know, the hat that Link from the Legend of Zelda series frequently wears (Breath of the Wild being a notable exception) is based on something that exists in real-life, that being the Scandinavian Long Stocking Cap. To avoid infringing on Nintendo's copyright, I would have it designed to have a pattern rather than being a solid piece in a single color as Link's is. This would be so that even if one to change the segments of the cap to a matching shade of green, the pattern would still be visible no matter what, and thus remain legally distinct enough to avoid infringement.
"Hellspawned greaves": Though Al Simmon (AKA Spawn)'s cloak is one of the most iconic features of his attire, but it already fairly easily to replicate with the wizard's mantle (and also the movable bat wings for the collar if one likes). Thus I believe a better option would be making leg based equipment that resembles his greaves. Though the kind he wore in SC II were asymmetrical, for the sake of avoid dispute this hypothetical piece would be made as symmetrical plus a few other details.
"Helmet of the Dark Invader": This would be piece based on the Helmet of Darth Vader. If I could create this hypothetical head equipment, it would have a deliberate skull-like appearance as well as some default color of some metal-ish (silvery to dull gray, and/or copper-ish red) to make it physically distinct.
"Sagely Helmet": This hypothetical helmet would be based on Yoda's facial appearance, but be clearly of an inorganic nature (largely being made of metal and/or wood) in order to not fully replicate Yoda's face.
"Apprentice Torso Armor": Arguably the most difficult thing to recreate of Starkiller (AKA "The Apprentice")'s appearance back in SC IV was his torso armor piece. I would add certain patterns and flourishes to make this hypothetical piece physically distinct enough to avoid being a complete duplicate.
"War God's Armlet": An armlet based on the Golden Fleece armlet that Kratos wears on his right arm. I would have such a piece omitting any sort of ram horn motif.
"Assassin's gauntlets": A pair of gauntlets similar to what Ezio Auditore has, though minus any sort of actual blades.
So what do you think? Granted, I'm aware that the likelihood of BN implementing these suggestions is unlikely (and possibly even legally dubious even with deliberate efforts at avoid homages that cross the line of copyright). However, plenty of fans had been wanting Heihachi's hair and clothing (as well as those of some other Tekken characters) as CAS customizations and eventually those requests were answered, so it is certainly not impossible.
Do you have a community discord i can join?
I really liked Raphael's story ngl
