Hello members of the Wiki! As you can see from the title the Wiki is about to go through some changes! The Wiki is going to be re-branded/partnered up with
Soulcalibur Community from Facebook! This means that Soulcalibur Community will be the
official Facebook page for the Wiki, and we also plan to expand onto other Social Networking websites. The partnership could result in the Wiki being renamed or Soulcalibur Community being renamed.

The reason we are doing this is to try and expand the Wiki onto other Social Networking sites in order to try and garner a wider audience. Our goal is to try and attract more fans of the series to this Wiki (and the Facebook page) in an effort to make the Wiki more active again, as well as to try and attract more people to the
Soul series in general.

We chose to partner up with Soulcalibur Community for a few reasons:

- Soulcalibur Community posts the latest news in the Soul series (sometimes even before the official Soulcalibur Facebook page does)
- It has over 670 likes and keeps growing almost everyday
- The people who "Like" the page interact with the page a lot, sharings things the page posts
- Some posts the page has made has reached over 2,000 people across the globe. The majority of posts usually reach hundreds
- I made that Facebook page, so I have the main connection from the page to this Wiki

As you can see, re-branding the Wiki with Soulcalibur Community can be
very beneficial as the page already has a wide audience across Facebook, while this Wiki is bound to Wikia only. So, you may be wondering "Why not just make a "Soulcalibur Wiki" Facebook page?" well the answer to that is simple: The Wiki is pretty much dead (sadly). Making a page, and trying to expand the Wiki that way will most probably be unsuccessful as the Wiki itself doesn't have many
active members, so making a new page on Facebook probably wouldn't help the Wiki much or expand very much. Our goal is to try and get more active members and expand the Wiki's names across Social Media.

With this re-brand/partnership some things will change on this Wiki. For example, the
Home page is getting redesigned to look more appealing for a new audience. And like I mentioned before, the Wiki
may be renamed (or vice versa for Soulcalibur Community). And a few other changes like the implementation of Featured articles, fan articles, users etc (which has been planned for a while). There isn't any
major changes planned at the moment, the Wiki will still work exactly the same and the overall theme will stay the same (most probably). However, like I have said there will be a few changes but as the changes are being made you will be informed! With the re-brand we could really do with some new
Administrators who can be
active! If you're interested in becoming an Admin please see
Requests for Adminship!

I know some members won't like this idea, however we hope you will adapt to the change and see the positives: trying to make the Wiki grow, expand our audience, attract new people to the soul series etc... We do hope you are as excited for this changed as I am. We thank you for continuing to use the Wiki and adapting to the changes already made. It's a new generation of Members, Admins and Soulcalibur Wiki in general! Feel free to ask any questions you may have and share your thoughts!
And remember:

THE LEGEND WILL NEVER DIE!
