Ancients are enemies that the player faces in Soulcalibur VI's Libra of Soul mode. A quest to fight them appears after the player masters a fighting style, first being at Level 72 but after completing 10 quests, the rest will be Level 80. They are all fought in Astral Chaos: Tide of the Damned. Defeating them is required to unlock the three Fires of Hell quests.

- Despite requiring the player needing to master 2B's style in order to fight it, the Ancient that's fought in Ancient Master of Melee Armaments uses Mitsurugi's style and arms herself with Masamune. This is the only Ancient not use the proper character's moveset.
- In Soulcalibur III, Olcadan uses weapons that are referred to as The Ancient.
