Ancient Citadel: Under Siege (不陥の城砦?) is Siegfried's stage that appears in Soulcalibur V. An old fort, serving as a base for the mercenary group Schwarzwind. Warriors are lined up defending the fort from the malfested. The attacking malfested were secretly sent by Graf Dumas.
The fighters are blocked on the drawbridge with possible ring outs on the sides of the bridge.
Profile[]
The mercenary band Schwarzwind uses this ancient citadel as their base of operations. The gates are under siege from hordes of monsters, and there are numerous weapons lining the area. The Malfested attacking the citadel received their orders from Graf Dumas, but he kept his involvement a secret.[1]
Designer's Comment[]
- "The scene is designed to show that Nightmare's forces are attacking the citadel and have the upper hand. There is a string of explosions that offers an impressive amount of focused fire that looks like it should have reduced the citadel to rubble in a matter of moments. I hope you will take the time to notice the battle taking place in front of the gates."
