Doppelgänger(Maxi).
Doppelgänger was an illusion that was created by Zasalamel in Soulcalibur IV. He can be fought in Maxi's story mode in Stage Four. Doppelgänger has a strange creature's voice and is fought alongside Kilik and Xianghua.

- Doppelgänger resembles Maxi in his 2P outfit but darker.
- Kilik and Xianghua mistook the Doppelgänger as the real Maxi, as it drags them along to stop the real Maxi from obtaining Soul Edge.
