Exciting! Soulcalibur Dojo

Exciting! Soulcalibur Dojo (痛快! キャリバ道場, Tsūkai! Kyariba dōjō^?) is an Omake released to coincide with Soulcalibur III and Soulcalibur IV, made to explain the new features and gameplay mechanics for each game. The one for Soulcalibur III features Cassandra, Sophitia and Olcadan, while the one for Soulcalibur IV features Cassandra and Hilde.

Trivia[]

There are a couple of cameo appearances of other characters:
- Patroklos and Pyrrha appear as kids in the Sophitia chapter for the Soulcalibur III one.
- Siegfried and Gerhilde appear in the Soulcalibur IV one.
Uniquely, the Soulcalibur IV one portrays Cassandra as being physically and romantically attracted to Hilde. However the canonicity of this relationship between the two is up for debate and no mention of it has been made in any other game^[note], nor the New Timeline with the inclusion of Soulcalibur VI.
The Soulcalibur III version was made by Daisuke Tsushima, a member of Project Soul who worked on Soulcalibur III, credited as one of the Visual Designers. The Soulcalibur IV version was made by manga artist, Rui Takato.

Notes[]

^α Hilde and Cassandra appear together in Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny's The Gauntlet. However, neither of them show any romantic interest in one another and The Gauntlet's story is explicitly stated not to be canonical.
