Faust (ファウスト Fausuto?) is one of Siegfried's weapons in Soul Edge, Soulcalibur III, and Soulcalibur IV; and one of Nightmare's in Soulcalibur II. It has appeared in almost every game of the Soul series except Soulcalibur, Soulcalibur Legends, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, Soulcalibur V and Soulcalibur VI, although there is a weapon in the latter two games that looks similar to the Faust, Caladbolg.

Faust is Siegfried's default weapon in Soul Edge. Its in-game design is slightly different to how it appears in renders and later games.

Weapon Gallery description: Siegfried, the current holder of Soul Edge, used this zweihander during his mercenary days when he was searching for Soul Edge. It is probably this very sword that Siegfried used to spill the blood of his his own father. It was once broken, but was later restored by the cursed power of Soul Edge.

There are two methods to obtain Faust: the first method is to defeat Siegfried in Tales of Souls, although the chances of obtaining it this way is low; and the other method is to simply purchase it in the Weapons Shop for 38,400 Gold. However, you need to unlock it first before it'll appear in the Shop's listing. There are two ways to make it appear in the Shop's listing:
- Fight a total of 450 matches.
- Clear any of the following stages during Siegfried's Tales of Souls:
- Stage 23 (Cassandra)
- Stage 24 (Mitsurugi)
- Stage 25 (Lizardman)
- Stage 26 (Raphael in the Grand Labyrinth).

Trivia[]
- On the old Soul Archive site, Siegfried's weapon in Soul Edge is erroneously called "Requiem".[1] Despite this, other sites—such as the website for Soul Edge Ver. II—correctly call it Faust.[2]
