Fugudoku (名刀・河豚毒?) is the main weapon of Haohmaru in Soulcalibur VI.

A 2-shaku, 5-sun long katana forged in the seventh year of the Kenkyu Era, during the rule of Emperor Go-Toba.
This blade emerged from the Kamakura Period, a time when warriors wielded great power and conflict rocked the feudal estates of Japan. Such a time of upheaval inevitably led to the development of powerful weapons.
A great number of famous blades were forged during this "Golden Age of Swordmaking," many of them so unique as to be irreproducable. Fugudoku, hewn on a master swordsmith's eccentric whims at the dawn of this golden age, is one such blade. Some say this swordsmith was one of a handful summoned to the imperial courts by Emperor Go-Toba himself, but the lack of records makes this tale dubious as best.
Though this exquisite blade boasts both sturdiness and beauty, it cannot not [sic] be lifted by an average person, and spent many years languishing in the pagoda at Todai-ji in Nara, waiting for the day it would fulfil its role in battle. It would take more than five hundred years—until the Edo Period of the Tokugawa shogunate—before Fugudoku would meet a suitable master.

A sturdy sword crafted on a certain master swordsman's whims. On its blade is inscribed the phrase "Namu Amida Butsu".
Its great length and the density of the ore used in its forging give it an abnormally heavy weight, making it difficult for the average samurai to lift, let alone draw from its sheath. Rumours eventually spread that even demons could not wield it freely, and soon Fugudoku was entrusted to the temple Todai-ji in Nara, where it lay forgotten for many years.
Time passed, and Fugudoku remained unused until it was discovered by Haohmaru on a visit to Nara. It is said that Haohmaru cut down the five-story pagoda housing Fugudoku when he claimed the sword as his own.
