Gaia Quake is a move that is used by Sophitia and Cassandra throughout the Soul series. It first appeared in Soulcalibur.

• Although the name is the same in English, Gaia Quake's name in Japanese is slightly different (depending on the character):
  • Sophitia's Gaia Quake is called Gaia Shake (ガイアシェイク, Gaia Shake^?).
  • Cassandra's Gaia Quake is called Gaia Tremor (ガイアトレマー, Gaia Tremor^?).
    • The held down version of Sophitia's Gaia Quake in Soulcalibur, as well as Pyrrha's +, is called Ultimate Gaia Tremor (アルティメットガイアトレマー).
• Aeon and the generic Lizardmen's Mezentius Style Desert Threat uses the same animation as Gaia Quake.
