Guard crush

Guard Crush is an element of game mechanics which was first introduced in Soul Calibur V. It leaves the opponent defenseless to launchers, combos or heavy blows. It is a state that is preceded by a flashing lifebar and is triggered after blocking sufficiently strong attacks for a certain period of time. Its animation, as of TGS2011, is identical to that of the Soul Crush from Soulcalibur IV, but it lasts a little longer.
