Guillotine (ギロチン?) is one of Voldo's weapons in Soul Blade, Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Soulcalibur V. They are present in Soulcalibur VI as well, but under the name Decapitator (デカピテイター?).
The Guillotines in Soulcalibur II are large and cumbersome when wielded by Voldo. They are brown with a signature large blade that is sharpened and primed for killing. It is among one of the tortuous devices Voldo uses, along with the Iron Ram and Heavy Jurs.

It can be unlocked by completing Epiosde 6 of Voldo's Edge Master mode. Hearing rumours that Noto castle had rare arms being collected and stored in its armoury, Voldo sneaks into the castle at night. As he leaves the armoury, taking Guillotine with him, he is stopped by one of the castle's guards, Mitsurugi, although he was no match for him.

Description: Large pendulum-styled guillotines. The areas behind the blades are shaped conveniently for gripping, and they can be used as-is like a weapon, but they are heavy and require strength to handle. They are appropriate weapons for one such as Voldo whose duty is to deliver justice to intruders.

- Fight a toal of 610 matches.
- Complete Voldo's Tales of Souls after obtaining Cat Claws, Tofana Scissors, and Iron Ram.

Soulcalibur VI[]
Description: A large weapon designed to be swung, and used in beheading. The blade and its opposite side can also be gripped, allowing for additional attack options. Because of its weight and capacity for giant swings, it can slice through the neck of even a heavily-armored soldier with ease. However, its weight can just as easily knock the wielder off balance.
Trivia[]
- The guillotine was used in extreme frequency during the French Revolution-in which peasants and the infamous Robespierre put to death anyone who did not harbor radical ideas of reform in France during this time. Ironically, Robespierre was eventually put to death by the guillotine himself.
- The guillotine was the official method of execution in France until the death penalty was relented in 1981.
- The last guillotining in France was Hamida Djandoubi on September 10, 1977.
