Weapon Gallery

A faint column of light rumored to appear only during a new moon. Legends say that ghosts, werewolves, and witches gather under its unnatural luminance, and forevermore render that site barren. Humans consider it an ill omen and avoid it all costs, but those whom unknowingly stumble within its range are certain to be stricken.

In-game characteristics

In-game, Hex Luminae appears as an orange substance surrounded by a matching energy field. While it has an exceptionally low attack and defense far harsher than even any of the Joke Weapons – in fact, it has the single lowest attack power of any weapon in the series by a large margin, at a 0.1x multiplier – in exchange, 100% of the little damage it does deal penetrates the enemy's guard, functionally making guarding against it completely impossible. This combination of effects makes it highly situational, becoming invaluable against opponents who rely too heavily on guarding but being almost completely useless against any more aggressive opponent.
