Irkalla (イルカルラ) is a large scythe that is wielded by Abyss, and it is his only weapon. It is also Zasalamel's ultimate weapon in Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Soulcalibur VI. Irkalla seems to be of the same degree of mutation of Abyss, the two exactly alike in essence and form. It is reminiscent of bones, or a spinal column to be more specific. It radiates with evil. "Irkalla" or "Ir-Kalla" is the name of the ancient Akkadian underworld.

Zasalamel's Irkalla has four different special effects. Abyss' Irkalla (1P) and Irkalla (2P) both lack any special effects.

There are two different methods to unlock Zasalamel's Irkalla:
- Complete Zasalamel's Tales of Souls mode after obtaining Ankou, Balor and Mrtyu.
- Fight 1,010 times.
To unlock Abyss' Irkalla (1P) and Irkalla (2P), all you need to do is simply unlock Abyss himself.
