Jinkai is a custom character that appears in Soulcalibur III and Soulcalibur IV.

Soulcalibur III[]
Jinkai is close friend of Girardot and one of his subordinates. Though, normally a wandering mercenary, Jinkai often helped Girardot test his students in the Parousia Academy. He served as a soldier during Girardot's last test against the Cadet, and then left. Under certain conditions, either he or Xiaoxin will find Girardot and the Cadet's unit in Epistema, and them overcome Maletta and Dalkia.
A year later, he found out Girardot had been killed in cold blood by Strife, and he left to join the Arthias army in honor and memory of Girardot.
