Kokuenra (黒閻羅?) originally appeared in Soulcalibur III as an unlockable weapon Arthur and for custom characters who uses the "katana' discipline, and then in Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur VI for Mitsurugi.

- Defeat Ende in Chronicle 19 of Chronicles of the Sword.
- Fight a total of 2,000 battles.

Kokuenra is one of Mitsurugi's weapons in Soulcalibur IV. It can be bought in Character Creation for 9,000 Gold after completing Story Mode with Mitsurugi.
Soulcalibur VI[]
Description: The frequency with which this katana was used to execute notorious criminals led to its being named after the King of Hell in Buddhist Mythology, whose role it was to judge souls in the underworld. When bloodied, the blade turns black. The majestic glow of the blade is said to bestow upon its wielder an unshakeable fighting spirit.
Trivia[]
- The sheath that it has in Soulcalibur IV resembles Shishi-Oh's.
- LLoyd's Kotetsu in Soulcalibur Legends borrows Kokuenra's design.
- An unselectable sword used by multiple NPCs appears throughout Setsuka's Soul Chronicle mode in Soulcalibur VI. The sword's sheath resembles that of Kokuenra's, even using the same textures.
