Krita-Yuga (護法剣?) is a jian used by Xianghua in Soulcalibur and Soulcalibur VI, and as one of her unlockable weapons in Soulcalibur II.
During Xianghua's confrontation with Inferno, Kita-Yuga revealed its true form as Soul Calibur, the polar opposite of Soul Edge. After defeating Inferno, Soul Calibur was trapped inside of it for the next four years, and after Siegfried freed himself from Soul Edge's control, it was freed from the space between consciousness. Siegfried then used it to pierce Soul Edge, and both Soul Calibur and Soul Edge ended in a dormant state, known as the "Soul Embrace".

Profile: Xianghua's treasure was her mother's keepsake Chinese Sword. Whenever Xianghua gazed upon the Krita-Yuga, she recalled her mother's final words: "You were born to complete an important task...Cut your path through an uncertain future!"
With her treasured sword in hand, Xianghua embarked on her quest, feeling the invisible forces of destiny pushering her onward.
The Krita-Yuga, along with Kali-Yuga and Dvapara-Yuga formed the treasured trinity of the Ling Sheng Su Temple. Separated for over 10 years, surely something momentous would come to pass when the three treasures were brought together again.

Description: One of the three treasures of the Ling-Sheng Su Temple. It is said that it changes form based on its surroundings. It was lost into a void during the battle with Soul Edge four years ago. According to legend, it fills its wielder with overflowing vitality.
Soulcalibur VI[]

Profile: The sword she inherited from her mother is a priceless treasure to Xianghua. Whenever she holds it in her hand and practices the forms her mother taught her, she feels both an aching sadness, and a familiar warmth. She has no way of knowing this, but that sword is one of the the three sacred treasures of Ling-Sheng Su, Krita-Yuga. "Use that sword to open a way to the ever-changing future." With her mother's words in her heart, Xianghua set out on a journey which led to her fateful meeting with Kilik.

Trivia[]
- The name comes from one of the four ages of time, or yuga, in Indian mythology, namely the Satya Yuga. The other Ling Sheng Su Temple treasure, the Kali-Yuga and Dvapara-Yuga, also share this naming system.
- The Krita-Yuga and Dvapara-Yuga are similar to Imperial Regalia of Japan (also known as The Three Sacred Treasures): Krita-Yuga's counterpart is Kusanagi, sacred sword of valor, Dvapara-Yuga's counterpart is Yata no Kagami, sacred mirror. Kali-Yuga is the only treasure not to have real-life counterpart (the third treasure of Japan is Yasakani no Magatama, the holy jewel).
- Krita-Yuga's design in Soulcalibur II is slightly different to its design in Soulcalibur and Soulcalibur VI. This could be because Xianghua's weapon, No-Name (1P), uses a similar design it has in those games, and thus was given a different design to differentiate it from No-Name.
- Its model would be reused for Xianghua's The Ancient in Soulcalibur III. Then it would be reused again as Straight Sword in Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur VI.
