Mt. Fuji the Holy: Hidden Dragon (霊峰富士・伏竜殿?) is Yoshimitsu II's stage in Soulcalibur V. This stage is set on a floating raft in the underground waterways of Mt. Fuji, known as the "dragon's veins" or "Hidden Dragon".
Profile[]
These are the underground waterways of Mt. Fuji that run below the entire country of Japan. They are known as the "dragon's veins" and are called the "Hidden Dragon" out of reverence. The symbols revealed by torchlight lead to the Manji clan's secret settlement.[1]
Designer's Comment[]
- "This stage was heavily influenced by Nordic caverns in the early stages of design, and you can still see some of that in the details. It's a long, wide, and winding cavern that was quite difficult to produce."
- — Yuko Mizoguchi[1]
Trivia[]
- It is very different in comparison to the previous Mt. Fuji stage from Soulcalibur III which was a lava river as opposed to a water river.
- This stage looks similar to Water Labyrinth, the original stage of the original Yoshimitsu.
- The stage was heavily influenced by Nordic caverns in its early designs. Some of those details still remain in the final design. [1]
