Murakumo Shrine Grounds (叢雲神社境内?) is a stage that appears in Soulcalibur VI.
Profile[]
Nestled in the mountains of Hizen Province overlooking the international port town of Nagasaki, Murakumo Shrine stands. Its grounds are ringed with ancient cherry blossom trees and bamboo thickets, and it is a popular spot for viewing the flowers in full bloom in spring.
It is the birthplace of Shinden Tsushima-Ryu, a sword-fighting style said to be passed down from the gods through generations of the Kokonoe clan. Every year on a certain day, the Kokonoe clan exhibits its swordsmanship as an offering to the divine. The fine blades that they use in these demonstrations are stored inside Murakumo Shrine. Though the style Setsuka mastered is but a branch of Shinden Tsushima-Ryu, this shrine is still a very significant location for her.
From within the shrine grounds, the dwelling of the ruling Omura clan can be seen to the east, beyond the bamboo forest. However, Setsuka feels no need to go that far, for just off to the side is a little hill where none other than her master Shugen Kokonoe lies buried beneath the ground. Though he had long cut his ties with the Kokonoe clan, this sacred ground is the greatest resting place for a warrior of Shinden Tsushima-Ryu.

- A slower, somber rendition of this stage's theme "Empty Vengeance" plays exclusively in Setsuka's Soul Chronicle. The song notably plays during emotional scenes and in the chronicle's ending.
- It is available for free in Update ver.2.20 alongside the release of Season Pass 2, DLC11: Setsuka and DLC12: Character Creation Set E.
- People can be seen standing around the town in the distance during the day. They disappear when it turns to night.
