Ramdao

Ramdao (ラム・ダオ, Ramdao^?) has been one of Yun-seong's weapons since his debut in Soulcalibur II and can be bought in Weapon Master mode. In Soulcalibur III, it is once again one of Yun-seong's unlockable weapons. In Soulcalibur IV. In Soulcalibur VI, it has been given to Hwang and got its name changed slightly to Ram-dao.

Weapon Gallery

Description: A widely used sacrificial sword from Nepal. It has a characteristic eye motif decorating the end of the blade. It has the power to sap the life from its enemies and heal the body of its wielder. As a result of its long reach, the shock when absorbing enemy attacks is increased, making it difficult to guard effectively.

There are two methods to unlock Ramdao: One is to defeat Yun-seong in Tales of Souls (although the chances of obtaining it this way are low), or by purchasing it in the Weapons Shop. However, you need to unlock it first before it appears in the Shop's listing. There are two different ways to do this:

• Fight a total of 500 matches.
• In Yun-seong's Tales of Souls, clear any one of the following stages:
  • Stage 23 (Ivy)
  • Stage 24 (Xianghua)
  • Stage 25 (Yoshimitsu)
  • Stage 26 (Mitsurugi in the Grand Labyrinth)

Ramdao is one of Yun-seong's weapons in Soulcalibur IV. It can be bought in Character Creation for 7,000 Gold after completing Story Mode with Yun-seong. It is also Auguste's weapon of choice.

Ramdao is one of Yun-seong's weapons in Soulcalibur Broken Destiny. It is unlocked at the start of the game.

Description: A sword used in rituals in northern India. The blade, decorated with sacred patterns, is designed for conducting ritual sacrifices. While such a holy tool normally wouldn't make it into the hands of an ordinary swordfighter, they are occasionally stolen from sacred grounds and circulated in the black market. As it is a sword made specifically for offering animal sacrifices, it isn't the best weapon in a head-to-head fight; however, a single cut from its edge produces an intense magical effect, harming foes with a potent spiritual mix of divinity and malice.
