Not to be confused with Reverse Spiral Ax (called エラ・シュ・ムクスーザ in Soulcalibur, called エルシューザ in later games), one of Astaroth's attacks.

Reverse Spiral Ax (リバーススパイラルアクス, Ribāsu supairaru akusu^?),also called Brutal Smash in the English versions of Soul Edge, is the horizontal attack that Rock does when he's rising.

It would be replaced by Reverse Spiral Hammer in Soulcalibur III.
