Seax is one of Cervantes' weapons in Soulcalibur V. It is unlocked at level 9.

Soulcalibur VI[]

Weapon Compendium profile: Even compared to other single-handed straight swords used in Europe, the Seax is particularly large. Suited to slashing attacks, it was designed to cause deep wounds. This particular weapon differs slightly in shape to the original Seax, so opinion is divided among experts whether it should still be classified as one.

Etymology[]

Seax is weapon based from Germany as a "wounding knife" and comes in various sizes but the one that Cervantes uses is the langsax (long seax) type.
