Trivia[]
- The Director of Soulcalibur VI, Yoshinori Takahashi, confirmed on Twitter that she would have replaced Taki in Soulcalibur II, but she did not make it in final game. Her design would be repurposed as Taki's 2P outfit.[1]
- The person who told Yoshinori Takahashi of Setsu's name was Yoshihiro Nakagawa, the writer of Soulcalibur II.[2]
- On the 17th of May, at E3 2001, Namco showed two videos, each one announcing Tekken 4 and a sequel to Soulcalibur.[3] Both videos featured gameplay from the previous games and a few images for the upcoming games. For the Soulcalibur one, it showed off only Seidou Nagumo, Setsu and an early design for Nightmare.[4]
