Shirt with Frills (フリルシャツ?) is a blouse that shows frills around the collar to the bottom with frill like cuffs that appears in various games throughout the series. In Soulcalibur III, it is called Shirt with Frills and is available to both male and female characters. In Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Soulcalibur V, is called Frilled Shirt.
Soulcalibur III[]
In Soulcalibur III, there are two different clothing items with the name "Shirt with Frills": one for males and one for females. The male version is called フリルシャツ (or "Frill Shirt") in Japanese. The female version of Shirt with Frills, however, is called フリルブラウス (or "Frill Blouse") in Japanese. Decorative Blouse, another clothing item available to females, shares the same Japanese name as the male version of Shirt with Frills (フリルシャツ) however, its appearance is drastically different from that of the male version's.
Equipment used in Lynette's 1P and 2P outfit in Soulcalibur III, can be used for customized characters.
Male version[]
The male version of the Shirt with Frills can be unlocked in the shop by completing Chronicle 12 of Chronicles of the Sword. Afterwards, it could be bought for 25,100 gold.

Soulcalibur IV[]
In Soulcalibur IV, there are two different versions of the Frilled Shirt: one for males and one for females. Despite sharing the same name in the English version of the game, they are actually two completely different clothing items with different names in Japanese: the male version goes by the name フリルクロース, or Frilled Clothes, and the female version goes by フリルシャツ, or Frilled Shirt. Despite this, the male version has more of a resemblance to the Shirt with Frills that appeared in Soulcalibur III where it went by the name フリルシャツ in Japanese.
It raises Impact by 45, Defense by 15 and HP by 25.
Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny[]
The male version of the Frilled Shirt gets its name changed in the Japanese version to フリルシャツ and is made available to both male and female characters. The female exclusive version of the Frilled Shirt gets its Japanese name changed to フリルクロース.
The unisex version of the Frilled Shirt (フリルシャツ) is an unlockable item. It could be unlocked by clearing Chapter 20 of GAUNTLET MODE or by unlocking 45 Honours.
