Shuki (シュキ, also read as 朱基) was a member of the Fu-Ma clan and the former head of the Fujibe faction, a combat faction dedicated to sealing demons; and a secret member of Urabe faction.[2]
Soulcalibur and Soulcalibur VI[]
The Fujibe exist to do battle with the supernatural. Their techniques were created with this in mind, and have been honed by generations worth of study and experience. Elder Shuki, while young for his title, is an accomplished swordsman. He also has a magnetic personality, which contributed greatly to his being chosen as the Fujibe head. He has a history of conflict with Geki, now head of the Yasunobe, and when the two meet, Shuki's temper often flares despite his ordinarily cool head. In secret, Shuki is also a member of the Urabe.[1][2]
Soulcalibur V[]
After Juju failed to return after a month from her mission to gather intelligence of Arahabaki's possible resurgence, a meeting was ordered by Chie. While Taki and the Inobe faction favored taking their time to research Arahabaki to better prepare themselves, Shuki grew angry at their inaction and chose to led his faction to Izumo without permission.[4] This could have possibly been motivated by his relationship with Juju.
Tragically, he and the other faction members were killed by Juju, who had become possessed by Arahabaki. Taki was then forced to kill Juju.[4]
