Soul Edge (Complete) (ソウルエッジ（完全体）?) is one of Link's weapons in Soulcalibur II. It is a modified, demonic form of the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, taken by Soul Edge.

An evil blade with a reputation for devouring souls. This weapon is also known to be a shape-shifter--which form it takes depends on its current owner. The forms it has taken are legendary, as are the souls of the renowned warriors it has consumed. Only those with great mental discipline can retain their will while wielding this weapon. It consumes the souls of those who fall before the blade, and also the soul of its wielder.
In-game characteristics[]
For Link, Soul Edge (Complete) takes on the form of a sword and shield. Unlike most other forms of Soul Edge (Complete), this weapon doesn't have any eyes. This weapon is quite powerful, having a very high attack power and defense capabilities of 140% and 135% respectively, but Link will slowly lose HP over time as he wields it; This can lead to an extremely offensive battle style for the player. Although Soul Edge (Complete) is the strongest weapon in Link's arsenal, the Cane of Byrna can surpass it in damage through the use of Soul Charge.
This is the only weapon for Link that doesn't originate from any game in the Zelda franchise and is thus exclusive to Soulcalibur II.
