Synval (シンヴァル Shinvaru?) is one of Sophitia's unlockable weapons in Soulcalibur II.
Profile: A spirit sword that warns its wielder of danger by emitting a wind-like sound. It was foretold to bring calamity to the land and was sunk to the bottom of a fountain for a long time, but its blade remains as sharp as ever. It is believed to have once been part of a set that included matching armor. Thus, the sword by itself, it is not suited for defensive use.
