On the subject of Iaido and Battojutsu[]

This information is flawed, and it seems like it was written by someone who got their information off of Wikipedia or something. While there may be certain subtle implications in the Japanese language when using these words, Batto and Iai (I'm leaving out the -do and -jutsu simply for the sake of convenience and to avoid confusion. There is such a thing as Iaijutsu and Battodo.) are very similar techniques, the classification of a technique as Iai and Batto is purely a matter of preference. There are many schools of Japanese swordsmanship that even use them interchangeably, and there are even instances where two schools will have an identical technique, with one school referring to it as Iai, and the other as Batto. For the sake of of avoiding confusion, I move for the removal of the comparison to Batto, and instead just having the explanation of Iai. While I won't go ahead and change that on my own before there's a chance for deliberation, I will be editing the description of her weapon slightly. Listing it as an "Iaito Iai sword" is somewhat redundant, since Iaito literally translates as "Iai sword." --Twilight Duality 08:27, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Seeing as how it's been over a week and no one has objected, I'm just gonna go ahead and edit the article. I'm also gonna be removing the part about "shikomizue and shirasaya styles". To the best of my knowledge, there are no official schools focused on the wielding of shikomizue, (AKA cane swords) so unless someone can provide actual evidence, it has no place in the article. As for shirasaya, contrary to what's often depicted in anime and manga, shirasaya were never actually used for combat. Shirasaya were meant as a means of safely storing a blade for prolonged periods of time, since keeping a blade within it's traditional war mountings without regular maintenance proved to have damaging effects on the blade. --Twilight Duality 04:20, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
There, I edited the article. To avoid confusion with her official listing of Battojutsu, I didn't completely removed the information on Battojutsu, and simply altered it to make it more accurate.--Twilight Duality 04:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Neve as part of the first sentence[]

I think it's not appropriate to add it there. It was never mentioned in the Strategy Guide of SCV if Setsuka took Neve as her new name. It was stated that it is simply for those around her knows her. Maybe a line or two on the overview section but not beside her name itself.Bluemask 15:34, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

The name of Setsuka's master is Shugen Kokonoe (Shūgen Kokonoe), not Funamoto Kokonoe. The pronunciationfo the word '舟元' is varified.

Kari should be credited for Setsuka in SCIV too[]

Considering the fact that , as opposed to what the trivia states (which is half-true) , Setsuka actually keeps ALL her damage grunts , attack sounds , and battle cries aside from her Death cry from SCIII.

The only new recorded lines she has are the remaining ones , which are the actual quotes  and full sentences (End of the line , Die , Give up and die!, etc) but she still uses her SCIII voice when attacking , reciving damage and dying , thus having both Tara and Kari voices in the end. 03:14, February 15, 2015 (UTC)~ Swiftie Muggle (talk) 03:15, February 15, 2015 (UTC)
