SCV's is a legacy character?

Looking at the concept art, the current Yoshimistu seems to be holding the head of the SCIV one. Perhaps, like Astaroth, this one is a new person with the same fighting style? -LeoLab 17:35, November 17, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, he is the new leader of the clan the previous Yoshimitsu belonged to. This is stated on his official Japanese profile provided by famitsu Suuusuuu 19:51, November 17, 2011 (UTC)

I GOT IT! Cervantes is the one to bring SE into series' history, resulting in katana's curse and it's desire for wielder to die, and Voldo is the one who exposed it to SE's influence.

That's a bit long winded but that's the best we got!

Yeah... I'd rather disagree with this idea and accept for a fact that two of the same character has two individual pages. *CoughAlphaCough* *CoughOmegaCough* Rather than making a detailed section on the original incarnation's page instead. the new yosimitsu is not in anyway related to the first but other game wikis do not make second pages for reincarnations of chracters for example king from teken 6 is not the same king thourgh out the seris just sayin

Count me in as someone who thinks there should be Yoshimitsu I and Yoshimitsu II pages. We can get away with only one Astaroth and Nightmare page, but Yoshimitsu II has a different background and character relationships than his predecesor. Mintia43 (talk) 08:14, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

JefferyDante TALK If having different relationships and background is enough to create various pages, then Asta, Night, Aeon, and Cervantes need another. Why? Cause Asta I and Asta II are from different era and did not fight the same people (Asta II didn't kill Maxi's crew); Nighty was Siegfried before, so it was ok to say that Nightmare's father was Frederick, the it became an amor and now it's Raphael; Aeon now has memories and therefore new connections to other people; Cervantes has a new body so he is a new person (different birthdate, etc)... We could go REALLY far with small details like that. Yet the game and most official info do not allow us to have enough information to create a new page for them. (14:28, September 6, 2012 (UTC))

The Astaroths are said to hold portions of the same memories of the original Astaroth and sometimes have flashbacks of these memories. Nightmare has had two hosts and one time when Soul Edge's spirit possessed Siegfried's armor. In the end though, Nightmare is still an embodiment of Soul Edge. Aeon may have different memories mixed in with his own, but it doesn't change the actual person he used to be, he's still Aeon Calcos. Cervantes is also the same guy, I don't see how he would have a new birth date, which he doesn't. Well I agree:  Yoshimitsu the Second isnt the Yoshimitsu of previous games.  He really is a seperate character.

I agree. If Alpha Patroklos and Pyrrha Omega have their own pages, why not Yoshimitsu's ripoff ? He's not original at all, but he's a separate character nevertheless.

not only them, but think of Natsu, who uses Taki's style, Leixia, who uses Xhanghua's style, Xiba...  they are clones, but considered successors...  Yoshimistu the Second is in this class.

Yoshimitsu sound glitch?

Hi guys. I have a request, can someone check this for me please. I have noticed that when you play as Yoshimitsu, the music is slightly quieter than usual. When he says something the volume goes down a bit, it doesn't happen with any other character. Maybe I'm just imagining stuff but it seemed quite weird. Suuusuuu 13:41, February 17, 2012 (UTC)

Character Relations

Hey, just wondering does Yoshi 2 have some connection with Lexia and Natsu because he refers to them as his superior. I think the Voldo and Cervantes thing has been sorted above.

Yoshimitsu II and Natsu both live in the same Fuma village. It was someone from that village that gave Yoshimitsu II his second sword. At some point, Yoshimitsu II and Leixia crossed paths and he showed her the way to the village where she ended up meeting Natsu. So, Yoshimitsu II is the reason Natsu and Leixia met and became friends/travel companions. Mintia43 (talk) 21:02, January 16, 2013 (UTC)
