The Ancient (古キ者?) is one of Lizardman's weapons in Soulcalibur III.
This weapon is the version of The Ancient that is used by Lizardman's and Olcadan (when he uses his moveset).
Olcadan is able to use this weapon at the start (alongside everybody else's The Ancient). However, Lizardman's version of The Ancient needs to be unlocked. There are two ways of doing this:
- The easiest method is to finish all missions in Lizardman's Tutorial.
- The harder method is to defeat Olcadan in Lizardman's Tales of Souls mode.

- Its model would later be repurposed for Lizardman's Hand Axe in Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur V.
