The Ancient (古キ者?) is one of Rock's weapons in Soulcalibur III.
This weapon is the version of The Ancient that is used by Rock and Olcadan (when he uses his moveset).
Olcadan is able to use this weapon at the start (alongside everybody else's The Ancient). However, Rock's version of The Ancient needs to be unlocked. There are two ways of doing this:
- The easiest method is to finish all missions in Rock's Tutorial.
- The harder method is to defeat Olcadan in Rock's Tales of Souls mode.

- This weapon's model would later be reused for Morning Star's in Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny.
