The Ancient (古キ者?) is one of Talim's weapons in Soulcalibur III.
This weapon is the version of The Ancient that is used by Talim and Olcadan (when he uses her moveset).
Olcadan is able to use this weapon at the start (alongside everybody else's The Ancient). However, Talim's version of The Ancient needs to be unlocked. There are two ways of doing this:
- The easiest method is to finish all missions in Talim's Tutorial.
- The harder method is to defeat Olcadan in Talim's Tales of Souls mode.

- The Ancient resembles Talim's Wind Guide from Soulcalibur II. The Ancient's model was later reused for Elbow Blade in Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, which was later renamed to Megalodon in Soulcalibur VI.
