The Ancient (古キ者?) is one of Xianghua's weapons in Soulcalibur III.
This weapon is the version of The Ancient that is used by Xianghua and Olcadan (when he uses her moveset).
Olcadan is able to use this weapon at the start (alongside everybody else's The Ancient). However, Xianghua's version of The Ancient needs to be unlocked. There are two ways of doing this:
- The easiest method is to finish all missions in Xianghua's Tutorial.
- The harder method is to defeat Olcadan in Xianghua's Tales of Souls mode.

- This weapon resembles Xianghua's weapon Krita-Yuga from Soulcalibur II, and Straight Sword in Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Soulcalibur VI.
