The Ancient (古キ者?) is one of Yoshimitsu's weapons in Soulcalibur III.
This weapon is the version of The Ancient that is used by Yoshimitsu and Olcadan (when he uses his moveset).
Olcadan is able to use this weapon at the start (alongside everybody else's The Ancient). However, Yoshimitsu's version of The Ancient needs to be unlocked. There are two ways of doing this:
- The easiest method is to finish all missions in Yoshimitsu's Tutorial.
- The harder method is to defeat Olcadan in Yoshimitsu's Tales of Souls mode.

- This weapon resembles Yoshimitsu's Dha from Soulcalibur II and Yoshimitsu's Manji Sword from Soulcalibur IV.
