Three Karmas (三業棍, Three Karmas ^?) is Xiba's primary weapon in Soulcalibur V. It is rather similar to Kilik's Kali-Yuga in terms of design and color.

The staff was once the possession of a corrupt monk who had succumbed to the temptation of the karmas and was tainted with evil energy.

Profile

The "three karmas" are represented as Deed, Speech, and Intent, the sources of all human sins. As the name suggests, the rod Three Karmas was initially used by a corrupt priest who had been tempted by evil.
Xiba was born tainted with evil energy, so his adoptive parent Kong Xiuqiang taught him breathing techniques and other methods designed to suppress the evil within.
Growing up in the vast embrace of mother nature, Xiba became quite the wild child, sleeping and eating as he pleased whenever the mood struck him. Living according to the purity of one's natural physical demands meant Xiba was never caught up in the struggle of common human trappings like morality. As such, with no real understanding of "good" and "evil", Xiba not only extinguished the evil energy within himself, but that of the Three Karmas as well.

• Its name is also based off the weapon of Sun Wukong, drawing furthermore references to him and Xiba.
