Unknown Soul in SC1?
The wiki and other gaming sites state that it's possible to play as an Unknown Soul version of the character you select, but no one is clear on how to do this in the Dreamcast version. And just a heads up, I absolutely completed the game (indicated by the gold title screen), so what's going on here?
Anyone up for a Malfested-themed pack?
It was pretty nice of Namco to provide the option an option to change our character's voice to suit or wants, although they could have actually followed through and give parts or options to actually mutate our characters. Not all of us want to play as humans with face paint and an off-colored pigmentation. Legs, arms, maybe even a head or too would be nice, right? Kaihedgie 03:11, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
A bit of a vent
Is it just me or does it feel like that naming some of the tougher opponents in Soulcalibur V's quick battle after pro gamers feel more like an insult than a sign of respect towards those people considering how damn cheap the AI always is? As godly as those players are, they at least weren't unrealistically savage cheats reading your every input and spamming the same move over and over again while you're down. Pyrrha's malfested state
Something to discuss, which is odd considerin' this is a fighting game we're talking about. It appears that characters can become malfested without the influence of Soul Edge, it just hastens/engineers the transformation. After all, if a sword like Soul Edge could start out as an ordinary sword and turns into the weapon it is today, what's to say humans themselves can't become something similar? However, I believe the reason Pyrrha stays transformed and not Siegfried is because he only transformed because of Soul Edge's influence and whenever he got rid of it, he turned back to normal not to mention that he was controlled.
