If I were do a ranking of the SoulCalibur chapters from II to V it would be this:
1) SoulCalibur III
2) SoulCalibur II
3) SoulCalibur V
4) SoulCalibur IV
Are the third and the second chapters (both amazing) too good to be exceeded or the saga is falling? The fourth chapter is extremely low level, better the fifth one but not so better than the third and the second chapters!
The third and the second chapters are two legends, tha saga can't stoop so low... it's terrible!!! T_T
