Valtro is a non-playable character in Soulcalibur VI who can be seen in Libra of Soul.

Today, Valtro captains the combat division of the Qualifiers—a group of men and women devoted to Azwel. However, life was tough for Valtro growing up. Persecuted and poor, he turned to crime at a young age, ruthlessly assaulting, blackmailing, and robbing others in order to survive. That is, until he met Azwel... At the time, Valtro and his gang had caught a deadly illness that had spread like wildfire through town. Wandering the streets in a feverish haze and on the verge of death, they were treated with repugnance and disdain. That is, until Azwel appeared and cured them with his miraculous powers. Valtro was shaken to his core; how could this saint of a man, who treated all equally and asked for nothing in return, exist? Wanting to repay his savior's kindness, he and his gang decided to join the Qualifiers.
Though Valtro does not understand what Azwel means when he talks about "curing the human race of a malady worse than any disease," he is fiercely loyal to him, and blindly follows Azwel's orders without a moment's hesitation. Though a highly-skilled fighter, he is none too smart and has a tendency to go overboard. This has caused Daniel and other former members of the Aval Organization to distance themselves from him.
Trivia[]
- In the Libra of Soul side mission "Legacy of the Chosen: Monstrosity", available after the main story is completed, involves going into abandoned Qualifer base and fighting against a fully transformed malfested. While this malfested is unnamed, there are hints that suggests that it is Valtro, such as the fact it can be seen wearing the same armor that Valtro wore (minus the pants), as well as wielding the same weapon that he used, “Styx”.
