- Despite Edge Master and Kilik requiring them to use Seong Mi-na or Xiba's style to use this move, neither Seong Mi-na nor Xiba can actually do it themselves.
- The Japanese name for Wind Divide Flare is Genbu.
- Edge Master has two different English names for this move in Soulcalibur. The name differs depending on if Edge Master is using Kilik or Seong Mi-na's style.
- While Wind Divide Flare wouldn't appear in Soulcalibur VI, another move with the same animation and a similar name does: Black Tortoise Embers.
- Wind Divide Flare is the only unique move that Edge Master has.
